The proceeds from the 20th annual Festive Spectacular have been shared between three local charities.
The concert, at Scarborough Spa in December, raised £3,000.
Representatives of each charity accepted a £1,000 cheque from concert chairman Nigel Wood and secretary Eileen Cole at the Town Hall.
They were Liz Hepworth of Yorkshire Coast Families, Jackie Darton-Smith of the Willows Lull Children's Charity and Andrea Woolcott of Scarborough Survivors.
They were joined by the mayor and mayoress, Martin and Cherry Smith, who attended the concert.
The mayor said: “We are deeply indebted to Nigel and his team for organising the Festive Spectacular every year”.
For the 16th time, the charity carol concert was compered by Look North presenter Harry Gration, a frequent visitor to Scarborough.
Sharing the bill were percussionist Simone Rebello; Celebration Brass, comprised of 32 salvationists from all over the north; and the United Schools Choir, featuring pupils from six schools.
“To date, we have given away in excess of £82,000 to local charities and groups since the first concert in 1998”, Mr Wood says.
Plans are well advanced for the 21st Festive Spectacular on 8 December. Tickets will go on sale on 17 September.
